Come learn the basics with crochet teacher and designer Abbey Swanson from The Firefly Hook.
I’m including 2 options for a project in this class – You can choose between making a hat or a cowl.
Learn to crochet in a stress-free environment while enjoying a drink or snack with your friends! We will meet in the conference room at the St. Michael Dunn Bros. Feel free to arrive between 5:00 and 5:30 but don’t worry if you can’t get there until 6:00 – there will be plenty of time to complete your project.
All supplies included in price – you will go home with a hat on your head or a cowl around your neck… I promise!
Drinks and snacks are an additional cost and optional.
There will be kits (yarn, hook, pom, pattern) for sale so you can have the supplies you need to make another hat or cowl. (Cost: $25 – $35 depending on yarn choice.)

Spa Basket details: This is a great project for those wishing to grow their skills. This basket can be modified for beginners and is a great first time project.
Washcloth details: You will begin one washcloth in class and take home yarn to make two more at home. This is a great project for beginners and those wanting to learn to work in rows. It’s also a great project for learning a new stitch!
About this Event
Come learn to crochet with your child in this Parent/Child class – or bring your child and either drop off or stay and have coffee with a friend!
This class is open to ages 7 & up. We will learn a basic crochet stitch and make a pom pom for our hat. (There will also be faux fur poms available if you’d prefer one of those instead.) Students with previous crochet experience can learn a new stitch.
All supplies included.
Ask about my 10% family discount!
Kits are available for purchase so you can go home with all the supplies you need to make another hat. ($29 – $35 depending on yarn choice. Kits include yarn, hooks, pom, pattern.)
