Flower pattern
Size: 8”
Pattern:
Ch 2 (counts as 1 sc), work 7 sc in 2nd chain from hook (8 sc total).
Note: From here, the rest of the flower is worked in three different spirals.
Spiral 1: (Work all sts in back loops), 2 sc in 1st sc from rnd 1, [sc in next st sc, 2 sc in next sc] rep until circle measures 4” in diameter.
Spiral 2: Turn, (WS) work the following sequence on the RS in the front loops (left from spiral 1) from the outside of the spiral to the middle: Ch 2, sk 1 st, sc in next st.
Note: One variation of this pattern is to finish off the flower here. For a fuller look continue to spiral 3.
Spiral 3: Turn, (RS) work the following sequence in each loop (left from spiral 2) from the middle of the spiral to the outside: (Sc, 3 dc, sc).
Finish off leaving 10” for sewing.

I’m enjoying this cute little baby hat. I especially love the flower! I’m struggling with Spiral two, though.

Spiral 2 is not clear. Turn, [WS] work the following sequence on the RS in the front loops [left from Spiral 1] from the outside of the spiral to the middle. Are you saying turn it over to wrong side? Could you explain with perhaps some photos of what to do.
