Here, our model Mallory is looking great in front of the camera with her sweet baby bump, and Monika (Open Air Journal) is rocking it behind the camera.
This collection has been in the works for 7 months; when we started it, I had no idea I’d be moving to MN, and Mallory had no idea she’d be pregnant.
Even though this isn’t a maternity pattern collection, we still loved Mallory for this project.
Since we created the women’s designs with her in mind, we wanted to keep her as our model.
And for the most part, her sweet baby bump didn’t show up. (Uptown Tunic pictured)
We had so much fun doing this shoot together!
I love this little spot we found for the Lake Calhoun Park Mat shoot – so so green!
This Wyoming girl is used to the brown and barren beauty of the high prairie. Beautiful parks like this one pop up everywhere along the lakes in the Twin Cities.
This eBook definitely has an urban feel to it, but you can’t avoid nature when representing Minneapolis.
Although I’m missing my wild Wyoming air like crazy, it has been amazing to live so close to my business partner and good friend.
