How do you win a prize?
Each day, we have a check-in where you share your progress with the group in the comments. A winner is drawn at random each day for the grand prize (pictured above) and runner up prizes (given by me, pictured below).
Runner up winners get to choose between a pom deal (buy 2 get 4 free) from my Etsy shop or a free crochet pattern PDF of their choice.

Not Knit Weekend CAL Schedule
Pattern will be available on the website November 10. Videos are embedded in the pattern post on the website.
Check-ins
November 14: Introduce yourself & your yarn, share picture of initial chains and state “Yes, I’ve read the pattern notes.”
November 15: Post photo of rows 1 & 2 (Watch video).
November 16: Post photos of row 3 & base half finished (Watch video).
November 17: Post photo of completed base and sewn seam (Watch video).
November 18: Close hole (Watch video), pick 2 for an automatic prize: Share on social media (mention/tag The Firefly Hook), make a Ravelry project page, comment with notes on the blog.
Note
Yes, you can work ahead when the pattern is released on Nov 10. Take pictures of your progress so you can share photos at the check-ins. If you need help, keep in mind that we are keeping to the schedule so you may need to wait until the check-in to get assistance (it’s the “along” part of the Crochet Along).
Please do not message admins, mods or pattern testers asking questions about the CAL – again, it’s the “along” part of the CAL. Your question or struggle will help others!
Prizes
Prize donors decide where they will ship prizes (domestic or international). Digital prizes will be offered to winners who cannot receive their prize (if applicable).
Three winners will be chosen at each check-in (using a random number generator).
EVERYONE who completes the last check-in gets a prize.
