New & Coming Soon!
Crochet Club
I’m so excited to announce the beginning of Crochet Club!
Your ticket includes 5 classes (held over 6 weeks to accommodate 1 make-up class). Crochet club meets once a week on Tuesdays beginning March 31 and ending May 5 from 6 – 8 pm.
Please bring a bag for your projects & supplies each week. I recommend a sturdy, reusable shopping bag. But a plastic bag also works just fine.
Please note: Supplies are not included.
Choose your learning track:
Track 1: Beginner crochet
You will make 5 different hats or cowls and learn all the essential beginner crochet skills: working in the round, working in rows, switching colors, reading a pattern, single crochet stitch, double crochet stitch and half double crochet stitch.
Supplies:
Option 1: Bring a 12 – 15 mm crochet hook and 1 – 2 skeins of super bulky yarn to each class. Your last hat will need 2 skeins of bulky yarn and a 9 mm hook. Faux fur poms available for $5 each.
Option 2: Purchase a kit at your first class for $60 with all the supplies you need for the entirety of Crochet Club. (2 hooks, 6 skeins of yarn, 5 poms)
Track 2: Freestyle
Recommended for those who have previous crochet knowledge.
Option 1: Bring supplies to make something you’ve always wanted to try but didn’t know how (blanket, garment, etc.). Get in touch with me before class to discuss projects and supplies (contact through EventBrite). I highly recommend choosing a Firefly Hook pattern (my designs) so I can give you the best instructions possible. But I am willing to help you through another pattern if you prefer. Click here to view all Firefly Hook designs.
Option 2: Come to the first class and purchase a kit ($20) to get started on a project then decide what to work on for the rest of Crochet Club. This is a great option if you aren’t sure about your skill level or what to get for supplies.

There will be kits (yarn, hook, pom, pattern) for sale so you can have the supplies you need to make another hat. (Cost: $20 – $30 depending on yarn choice.)
