Pattern Notes

This cowl is created by connecting a chain into a circle, working single crochet stitches around the chain circle then continuing in a spiral by working in the first single crochet without connecting the round. The cowl is finished off with slip stitches to taper off the spiral.

Pattern

Chain 34, join chain with slip stitch.

Round 1: Chain 1, single crochet in each chain around, single crochet in back loop only of first single crochet made in this round. (34 single crochet)

Rounds 2 – 15: Single crochet in back loop only in each stitch around. (34 single crochet)

To finish: Slip stitch in the next 3 stitches, finish off at round 15 or when yarn runs out.

The following videos show you how to make the cowl, step by step!
