This collection is called “This Is Me”. For many reasons.
- The Greatest Showman is the greatest show… man.
- I feel the need to introduce myself to many of you.
- We planned out our year just a month before this photo shoot and I was the only model under such short notice.
- I feel this is the year for me to “come into my own” if you will
Monika and I had great talks and great laughs (per usual) during our photo shoot/sleepover. She helped me make my first Instagram Story. We watched The Greatest Showman while we made 40+ tassels for the “Tried and True Beginner Blanket”. (All while we drank a bottle of our favorite Moscato… shhhh…)

We discussed the need to represent ourselves authentically. Sometimes that means posting a photo of yourself laughing on a rug you made (crinkly nose and all). Sometimes you post a video of yourself making tassels… at night… with no make-up… and no script.
Sometimes you feel like the Bearded Lady at the beginning of the song singing “This Is Me” through tears.
Sometimes you are the Bearded Lady singing at the end of the song – about ready to take on the whole world.
Know what? All of it is you. All of it is me. This is us you guys!
